Product Introduction of Galvanized Coil.

Galvanized coil refers to a coiled steel sheet coated with a layer of zinc. It is currently the most widely used anti-corrosion steel product in the industrial field, with approximately half of the world’s zinc production used in galvanizing. It prevents corrosion of the steel substrate by covering the steel sheet with a layer of metallic zinc, utilizing the cathodic protection of zinc. It combines excellent corrosion resistance, processability, and economy, making it a core basic material in industries such as construction, automobiles, and home appliances.

Galvanized coils are mainly classified into five categories according to their production and processing methods:

* Hot-dip galvanized coil: The coiled steel sheet is continuously immersed in a molten zinc bath for galvanizing; this is currently the mainstream production process.

* Alloyedized coil: After hot-dip galvanizing, it is immediately heated to approximately 500to form a zinc-iron alloy coating.

* Electro-galvanized coil: A zinc layer is deposited through an electrolytic reaction.

* Single-sided/Double-sided differential galvanized coil: Only one side is galvanized, or the zinc layer thicknesses on both sides are different.

* Alloy/Composite galvanized coil: Elements such as aluminum and magnesium are added to zinc to form an alloy coating.

The DC51D+Z galvanized sheet, an environmentally friendly galvanized coil manufactured according to standard Q/BQB 420, has garnered significant industry attention due to its excellent performance and environmental friendliness.

As a cold-forming galvanized sheet, the processing performance of DC51D+Z is crucial.

Stamping performance: It possesses a certain degree of ductility, suitable for simple stamping, such as the manufacture of appliance casings and small structural components. During stamping, the sheet should not easily crack or wrinkle.

Welding performance: Excellent weldability meets the assembly requirements of various structures. During welding, this galvanized coil will not experience problems such as incomplete welds or weld failures due to the zinc layer, ensuring the strength and sealing of welded joints, facilitating welding assembly operations in fields such as construction and machinery manufacturing.

Application scenarios:

Construction industry: Roofing and walls: In industrial plants, large warehouses, and other buildings, galvanized coils are used for roofing and walls, requiring good corrosion resistance and formability. 

Doors, windows, and decoration: When used for building door and window frames and interior decoration, high surface quality and processing precision are required.

Home Appliance Industry: Outer Shell Manufacturing: Outer shells for appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners require galvanized coils with good stamping performance and surface quality. 

Internal Structural Components: Internal structural components such as brackets and partitions in home appliances require materials with high strength and machinability. 

Automotive Industry: Body Panels: Components such as fenders, door panels, and side panels for cars require materials with both sufficient strength and good stamping performance and corrosion resistance. 

Chassis Components: Chassis components operate in harsh driving environments and require extremely high corrosion resistance.
