1. Off-line Annealing:

This is achieved by pickling, followed by the application of a zinc chloride or ammonium chloride-zinc chloride solvent for protection. 2. In-line Annealing:

For in-line annealing, cold-rolled or hot-rolled coils are directly used as the original plate for hot-dip galvanizing. Gas protection recrystallization annealing takes place within the galvanizing line itself. The Sendzimir method, modified Sendzimir method, US Steel Union method, Silas method, and Sharon method are the popular techniques used for in-line annealing.
